Reality

As the days go on, the busier I get. Which kind of sucks, considering that I barely have time to write on here.
FINALLY, I HAVE A SONG! :D
Happiness is twisting and turning in my stomach.

Why do you stay for a while,
When you're gone for the rest of the day.
What's the use of having your around?
When I can't see you, you're not help at all.

So you're picking on me for not caring at all,
But in reality, my words go in one ear and out the other.

*chorus*
And someday, I'll find a way out.
I'll walk out of that door.
I'll never come back,
You don't know what's in store.
And you'll make your way in,
And you can't find me.
Wake up, time to learn your lesson.
This is reality.

You won't find me....
You won't find me.

And why do you ponder around,
You voice is like nails on a chalkboard.
You've become so useless,
You can leave now, I know you're bored.

But rather than you leaving, maybe I'll take a step,
So expect the unexpected.

*chorus*
And someday, I'll find a way out.
I'll walk out of that door.
I'll never come back,
You don't know what's in store.

And you'll make your way in,
And you can't find me.
Wake up, time to learn your lesson.
This is reality.

I've given you plenty of chances.
I've reminded you of your rights and wrongs.
But all you're ever were, and will be is pathetic,
Useless, a liar and a hypocrite.

*chorus*
And someday, I'll find a way out.
I'll walk out of that door.
I'll never come back,
And you can't find me.
This is reality.

So, wake up, time to learn your lesson.
This is reality.

Unloved Reflection

And those mirrors remind us
Of how worthless,
Meaningless,
Unappreciated,
Repulsive
And ignored we are.
But do the mirrors tell the tales,
Or do our eyes?

Impossible

Just yesterday, it seems as if I was,
Small and scared, caring what everyone thought,
Playing battles of who can say
Those nasty words.

Inside your heart, you're controlled by,
Troubled ghosts, having no sense of direction.
Pretending as if nothing happened,
Nothing happened at all.

*chorus*
And I'm trying to catch a star but it's too far away.
It impossible to find.
It's like trying to fix broken promises,
It seems impossible to try

And like throwing pebbles,
But even more harsh, I shatter my reflection,
'Cause meeting up expectations
And learning others preconception
Is what I need.

*chorus*
And I'm trying to catch a star but it's too far away.
It impossible to find.
It's like trying to fix broken promises,
It seems impossible to try

And if I can't figure out how to fix this,
Clean off the dirt that we've spread.
Clear our meaningless expectations,
That are all stuck in our heads.

*chorus*
And I'm trying to catch a star but it's too far away.
It impossible to find.
It's like trying to fix broken promises,
It seems impossible to try

Because our expectations are meaningless,
They only break hearts.
Shatter reflections
And control us.

^ Alrighty! That last verse, right after the last chorus is actually from a poem that I wrote today. And some little tidbits here and there were from that poem also. I sandwiched them into the song. Hopefully it worked! :)
