Is it me or did my writer's block go away? :)

And here we go down this bumpy road,
I shoot a smile, but it never goes,
Towards you on the other side,
You never bothered to say goodbye.

A warning was all that I needed,
I was torn, I couldn't believe it.
Didn't friendships last a lifetime?
I guess not yours, or mine.

It seems like a million days has passed by,
Since I saw you last.
If only it were true and it really went by,
It went by so fast.

I want to scream, the silence is killing me,
It's as if no one can hear me.
Am I just talking to a wall?
I want to run, I want to go far away,
Hopefully you might just stay.
Maybe it will take us back,
to those forgotten memories.


When you say hi, it was no big deal,
For me it seems just so surreal,
That you're starting to care,
I wasn't prepared.

And each day goes on you talk and talk,
I seem to wonder how it all started.

I kind of want to run away and not look back.
